Appearance

Control

The temperature control knob is also responsible for turning on the grill. It has four main positions Off, Low, Panini, Sear. A regulator is located nearby, which is responsible for the mode of operation of the timer. The timer function allows you to control the cooking time of dishes. Having set the required time in the range from 1 minute to 30 minutes, you can start the timer by pressing the button in the center of the regulator and start the countdown. The set time will be displayed on the LCD monitor next to the temperature. If necessary, the timer can be stopped at any time by pressing the button again, but it is worth remembering that in this case this will not stop the heating of the surfaces.

Exploitation

Before using for the first time, the manufacturer recommends cleaning the removable grill panels, oil collecting container and food spatula in warm water using a cleaning agent. Also these parts can be washed in the dishwasher.
Before using it, insert the top and bottom grill plates in their original position and apply a thin layer of vegetable oil on them.

When used for the first time, the grill may emit light smoke and will not be present.

The cover of the electric grill has several locking positions. Switching between them is carried out by pressing the button for changing the position of the cover. The lid can be completely closed and fixed for two-sided frying of products, and the closure density has a five-step adjustment, for different dishes and different degrees of roasting. Open position with 100 ° top lock for one-sided frying. And the barbecue mode, in which the panels open 180 ° and can be used simultaneously to cook large quantities of food.
The device has built-in overheating protection and an automatic shutdown function after an hour of continuous operation, which provides additional protection against accidental fire and other troubles associated with leaving heating devices unattended.

Grilling leaves a very pleasant experience, it heats up quickly, roasts food well, is easy to use and functional.

Care and maintenance

Removable panels, grease collection tray and spatula are recommended to be cleaned after each use, after switching off and completely cooling the panels. These items are also dishwasher safe. The main thing is not to allow water to enter the body of the device.

It is also not recommended to use abrasive detergents and cleaners and metallic sharp objects, or hard sponges, which can damage the non-stick coating.

It is recommended to wipe the top panel and base with a damp sponge and then with a soft cloth or paper towel to remove moisture.

The instructions also indicate possible malfunctions and ways to eliminate them, however, during testing, we did not encounter any of the described problems.

When measuring energy consumption, it corresponds to the declared power and is within 2 kW. The temperature also matches that shown on the display and is practically the same in the center and at the edges of the panels. Heating occurs evenly.

Both panels reach their maximum temperature in less than 4 minutes.

The Dauken XG2500 grill has performed well in our tests. It does a good job of preparing a wide variety of dishes and has a wide range of functionality for the most sophisticated chefs. Build quality, functionality, materials and performance are excellent.

The heating speed and working area make it easy to prepare the finest culinary delights. And two removable non-stick panels make maintenance convenient and easy.

At the same time, Dauken does not forget about safety, which is important for powerful heating devices.
