The current reality is that most often only wooden floors have to be painted, and for other bases (concrete, metal) it is customary to use other materials (engineering board), although not in all cases. At the same time, some types of wood (for example, soft ash and birch) may require the application of several layers of the material, since their structure absorbs paint very well.
