According to the developers, their future project will be a vivid representative of inexpensive and high-quality smartphones that have all the advantages of a high-budget class. This is evidenced by a powerful processor, namely Helio P22, a triple main and front-facing drop-shaped camera, an Android Pie operating system with a Funtouch OS9 shell and an excellent autonomy of the device. The idea of ​​transferring all innovative functions from expensive models to cheap ones came from the developers for a long time, but only with this model did the result meet the company's expectations. During testing, the device showed excellent results, both in terms of performance and in terms of autonomy and reliability. Apparently, a worthy competitor has appeared, which can repel many models of Xiaomi, Huawei and Samsung.

The Vivo Y15 smartphone has rather bulky dimensions: 160 mm long, 77 mm wide and 8.9 mm thick. Moreover, its weight is almost 190 grams. The Y15 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 quad-core chipset with a Cortex A73 socket (2 cores at 2.1 GHz) and a Cortex A53 socket (2 cores at 1.8 GHz). This processor is more than enough to handle all heavy and demanding applications. In combination with the chipset, the PowerVR GR8320 graphics processor functions to ensure the quality of the visual component. The amount of RAM is 6 GB, and the internal memory is 64 GB. According to the developers, this is the initial configuration of the device. In case of a lack of memory for especially advanced users, it is possible to increase the volume up to 256 GB. To do this, you can use a memory card.

In terms of gaming performance, the device shows mixed results. During testing, applications such as "PUBG", "World of Tanks Blitz" and Asphalt 9 Legends were launched. For example, "Battle Royale" ran at medium graphics settings and produced 30-40 frames per second, and the asphalt functioned almost at high settings, but as the readings increased, FPS began to drop.

To improve the effect in games, the Funtouch OS9 shell offers a special GameCube application that can increase the gaming performance. There is an alternative program available to the system to increase the readings of the central processor and optimize the RAM. The Vivo Y15 boasts a decent level of autonomy, as the battery capacity is 5000 mAh. The speaker for conversations in the device has a good sound, the interlocutor is heard perfectly, the sound is loud and clear. But with the main speaker, not everything is so smooth. Its volume level is quite high, but the quality is noticeably lame. By setting the sound to maximum, you can notice slight distortion and wheezing. Apparently, the speaker is tuned more to high frequencies and because of this, such a sound.
