For example, playing Forza Horizon 3 in the testing process did not have any difficulties with frame skipping, but no doubt the toy looks much more spectacular on consoles marked "X".

Today, media giants such as Netflix, Amazon Video, YouTube and the unique Vudu and Hulu from the US have 4K versions of their own programs available in the Xbox One Store, which should satisfy any user needs. During testing, there were no difficulties with streaming content playback. In general, the set-top box does not take up a lot of usable space, it works relatively quietly, and the drive with a capacity of 1 TB makes it possible to download a huge number of games.

Games library

This is the stage at which the novelty will divide gamers. Since the set-top box does not have an optical drive, users will not be able to play their favorite projects.

What are the solutions to this issue? At first, the console comes with three toys, which is cool, but in addition to the aforementioned games, users are given the opportunity to purchase digital modifications of any projects for a novelty in the brand store, or start using Xbox Game Pass.

As some gamers have noticed, the new product is a good partner for Game Pass, and users have the necessary amount of memory in order to download any games from the service library. In addition, not so long ago Microsoft signed an agreement that gives gamers the opportunity to experience the new Xbox Game Pass Ultimate service for only 65 rubles for a month.

The Xbox One X hitting the shelves certainly raised the bar for consoles, and while that didn't make the One S a necessary redundancy, it made it clear that the One S was outdated. It is for this reason that it is a little unclear why Microsoft made the decision to make the S version without a floppy drive, which is actually the same set-top box - just without a drive.

The design is the same, the filling is the same and there are no even the slightest hints that the manufacturer wanted to somehow distinguish it from the competitors, not taking into account the lack of a drive.
